My love of Dundee Graffiti.
It was nice to see a great art tribute to Mike Towell
Today’s my first day back from an unbelievably relaxing Christmas and New Years break — so I’d better get back at it. Glad to see you here again, and best wishes for an awesome 2017!
I had the pleasure of photographing Mike in June 2014 in Dundee, he was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with. After hearing the tragic news about his sudden death I would just like to share a few of my favourite images I took on that day in June.
A Just Give page has been set up by Ricky Hatton who donated £5,000 and with the target of £20,000 set has been reached and is still rising!! Which is fantastic news!!
Rest In Peace Mike.
On Tuesday I had the pleasure of photographing Stephen Barney @The Cheesery
The Cheesery is situated at 9 Exchange Street, Dundee. This busy friendly award winning independent cheese shop run by husband & wife team Stephen & Hilary Barney, the Cheesery sells a terrific range of British and European artisan cheeses for the discerning turophile !
It also has a strong emphasis on supporting Scottish farmhouse cheesemakers with a selection that changes regularly. Favourites include fantastic farmhouse mature Cheddars, deliciously indulgent Gorgonzola Dolce, creamy Highland cheeses and award-winning Brie de Meaux Donge. Also a huge variety of deli produces to complement the cheeses including olives, relishes and a selection of oatcakes and biscuits.
Gift baskets can be bought for the cheese connoisseur in your life and the shop can even create striking cheese wedding cakes.
Well worth a wee nosey next time your visiting the city centre!
